Are you sure?  ;)  Do not forget about the expected Damascus Hunter Pro.  :pok:

Hmm, fun for the kitchen I guess.  But yeah, this isn't exactly rushing to the top of my list.

I don't follow Victorinox items such as these limited editions but that kitchen knife looks cool.  I'm guessing its not what the collectors would have expected  :dunno:  Its neat tho.  A bit pricy tho.

Oh I hope so :)

Ok let's hope this is a new series of collectable kitchenware .... I bet they are going mad for it on the kitchenware.org forum :)

Alscher Swiss

"Please note: This knife is not a part of the existing Victorinox damascus knives series. We expect for April/May the introduction of the new damascus knife in the pocketknife category."

Very nice - a friend of mine got his a couple of weeks back and I have to say that the pyramid Damascus is a wonder to behold, but sadly out of my reach! He’s building a collection of the Damascus ones so I sold him my 2015 ranger wood a while back, but I did keep the Pioneer X Damascus 2016 - that’s a keeper for me! Good pic too, the Damascus on the hunter pro isn’t as heavily acid etched so is quite subtle- good work! :like: :like:

Super nice, Jaydar!

Rizio, I have the Damascus Pioneer X too and love it.  So pretty.

I liked these Damascus beauties a lot more when you could buy a 2016 Pioneer X for 216 euros. Now that it's nearly 400 for a big clunky decorative object that nobody is going to use, it's a lot less compelling. I mean it's beautiful to look at, the damascus pattern is "to-die-for" and I'd love to see that colour used on other non-damascus alox (I know, it won't happen) but it's not a must-buy like the earlier Damascuses were. I'm spending my coronavirus survival money on REAL KNIVES so I can fight off the ZOMBIES when they come bangin' on my door. Remember, kids, zombies don't care about Damascus blades!
