I have several 84 mm SAKs. Some Cadets, one regular and two colored. I have several Recruits and one Sportsman. The Executive is an interessting design in general. ;)

So yes, here is love for the 84 mm SAKs. :)

I have nothing fancy 84mm, just two users.
A Danish color Cadet and a small Tinker. They ar both users, actually they take turns as EDCs.
The 84mm is just great in the EDC roll. Legal abot anywhere very easy to carry in pocket. I wish there were more current offerings.
Would love a 84mm compact and 84 mm climber.  Would love them to pack the Wenger 85 Scissors together with the rest victorinox implements.
Wish granted! :tu: :climber:

How did I miss this thread???
I too have a crush on 84 mm size.
84 mm is the perfect size Vic that I would carry in pockeys a long with other stuffs.
91 mm is good and filling the hands well but I will pick 84 mm all day anyday.

Not too keen on 84s too be honest, as the 91s fit better in my hand and the blade feels more decisive. Do use my Cadet for suit carry though. Well here are mine:

My first Cellidor Mod - Minifarmer.
3 layers, no backtools. It´s a combination of a Recruit, My first and a Sportsman.
Pic was taken before I re-did teh middle pin without bushings.
I am not sure if I like Nylon or Cellidor scales better.

Thanks!
I´m quite proud that my firstb real SAK mod actually produced a working knife.
I am thinking of using ribbed Alox scales for this (I have bought 2 ribbed knives for mod fodder) or my next Alox mod.

Although I like all the Alox knives and all the options of the 91mm knives, the 84mm is my favorite size.

Sorry for quoting an ancient post, but is this your work or released by Victorinox/Swissbianco?

I see your and raise you a cadet plus scissors (I know you have one too :P):

Mh, fine then. How about a red shield black Cadet with scissors? >:D

And how about a set of replacement tools?

What size pivot screws would work well with 84mm Alox mod?

These are 1/8 of an inch. Interestingly, 84mm springs have more meat around the center hole than 93mm ones.

If I can get use of a mill, I might try this.  I would like being able to take it apart again if necessary.
