I get issued a T3 Tilley hat through work .I've grown very fond of mine and often wear it . Its great as a sun hat and equally as good in the rain although it does blow about in the wind a bit but does have a chin strap . Sorry about my ugly mug (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)Dunc
Well I'm getting back into Tilley weather again so I've been sporting mine recently. Question: how do you guys generally wear your chin straps? With the sides buttoned up I wrap the straps up and over front and back but I find with the brim down I usually just tuck them inside out of the way. I don't want to 86 the straps as if it does get windy I would use them but otherwise they seem in the way a lot. What do you guys think?Stay multi my friends
I wore my airflow all day while fishing. That chin and head strap really is an innovation. We had horrible wind all day but my hat stayed on without a hint of coming off, and it wasn't tight at all. I love this thing!
I've always wanted to pick up a Tilley. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy one?

I believe Alex Tilley lived in Scarberia when he started making them initially. GTA is the home of Tilley Endurables. Def
I still wear a ball cap (MTO hat actually!) fairly often, but that is largely because I work outdoors a lot and you really can't put a hood over a Tilley.Beyond that, if I had to choose only one kind of hat, it would be my trusty old Tilley.Def
Yup, you can't beat a Tilley. Well, actually, you can, and it comes back for more! Def
