the carrot in action,
on: May 20, 2011, 02:35:04 PM
Some on here might of read my little kind of review on tonys carrot, ill add a link shortly, well here it is in action, i have to say this is one very comfy knife in the hand, very ergonomic for such a little one, blade sharp and stayed sharp,it was no problem sharpening that stick, ive added extra parts to the pouch tony did , as wanted to add the fire steel that also tont sent me a while back, i put that to a test and it works perfectly, all in all this knife is a perfect little camping knife, great for cutting , plitting wood apart as the back of the blade is thick so could pound it with a lump of wood, you could pry things with it, great custom knife, roll on carrot MK2  ;) again big thanks to tony for his work,  :salute: next week im off out on a long ride through my local heath so im going to put it more to the test  :tu:

I am sure there is a Bugs Bunny joke somewhere.....  :D

(note to self: Must keep it clean.....)
Good chopper, I assume it caused the cut on your finger too!

If I had one like these I would be scared to use it in case i damaged it.  :-\

I got a fire steel from ebay a few weeks, ago; they are quite nice toys/tools.
They do impress people, which, considering fire was invented thousands of years ago, is really something.

I should have said your pictures are great! You managed to capture the sparks really well  :tu:

I think you should be able to use the front angled bit on Carrot on the ferro rod as a striker (maybe because I can't remember if I beveled it, if I did you could square it off again)  :-\
