I'm fine with just Saturday but I'm also fine with stopping over the Friday or the Sunday as well.

I'm easy :)

Depends if anyone else wants to make it two nights?

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

We might only be able to do the Saturday, but don't let that stop you!

I think we should get Nuphoria an Hedge kid drunk Sat evening  :drink:
They will have to stay unless Ruby can drive  :D

I will do two (so long as we get the OK tomorrow evening)   :tu:

Nice one Tony  :salute: Friday and Saturday would be excellent for me, so long as it works for the group too. Nice to be able to have a  :drink: at least one night without being worried about the drive the next day. I've got a couple of large "logs" drying which I've fished out of the canal, so you'll not be wasting your time with the chopping tackle. i'll bring a splitting maul and wood grenade too. :tu:

@Neil,

Yep, but I was wandering around Waitrose buying bread rolls and orange juice when Gareth phoned me with 'where are you?'

I am trying to organize some more fire wood and I will bring my 'Target log'
more wood is good Al! This is a good excuse to play with my toys  >:D

I'm off to the car boot next Sunday
There was a guy selling little second hand bow saws for two quid each, I can pick some more up if anyone fancy’s one (picture in carboot thread 'reply 363')

bow saws would be a good idea mate. One of the chunks i've salvaged for firewood is about 12" diameter by about 3' long I think. My car's suspension is not going to like me  :D

while I think on, what's the crack with general amenities (cooking etc)? I've got a cartridge stove or two and a kelly kettle, do I need to start digging these out? Owt else I should start hunting down? I know its early days, but if I don't add it to the list now it won't happen.

We used (I burnt stuff on) my GF's BBQ last time which I think worked well with three of us (Gareth had his 'Jetstream' gas cooker as well)

We can do that again this time if everyone is happy with that, maybe supplementing the BBQ with other means of cooking for speed?

I'm open to suggestions as well

I would also like to see the kelly kettle in action  :tu:

ok mate, I'll make sure the kelly kettle comes. Aside from that I'll just load the car with whatever I find. Stoves, wood, axes, tables etc. I've got tons of gear, and it's all somewhere - I'm just not sure where somewhere is

OK this thread has moved along at a fair pace since I last logged on. :tu:  I'll maybe try and make it down on the Friday night but most likely I won't be there until Sat morning. :)

Well if anyone needed any more reason to turn up I've just been sent a couple of excellent goodies to give away.  Milhouse has very generiously given us a Jetbeam Jet 1 PRO V3 R2, and a Tool Logic Fire.

http://www.jet-beam.com/links/pro/jet1proibs3.aspx
http://www.sogshopping.com/knives/slp2-31.html

it really would be absolutely terrible if I somehow forget to bring these with me and accidentally left them at home.

Now what I need is some good suggestions for a competition, to be run on the day, to see who wins these beauties. :tu:
