An unplanned new addition.....

I was at a local hardware store earlier today with a buddy of mine, just minding my own business, not planning on buying anything. Then I saw it: a new Kick for $25. I had it in my hands looking at it, still not planning on buying it. That's when the owner of the place told me he'd give me contractor pricing on it (my store and this store are on very good terms with each other). So, I ended up leaving $20 poorer and one Kick richer! It seems like a nice, sturdy, simple tool, not stiff at all like I'd read about some of its' breed. It'll be going to work tomorrow with me, backed up by my Vic Compact, which is another new-to-me toy I'm rapidly falling in love with. At the very least, I'm now UK legal..... :D

The Kick is a wonderful, inexpensive tool, and is one of the best "bangs for the buck" in the multitool world.  I look forward to hearing your thoughts after some testing!

Love the Kick as well, must be the cheapest, full sized, high quality, MT you can get.  Good pliers, excellent screwdrivers, acceptable blade. :cheers:

Get a bit of fine sand paper and give the plastic edges a little rub down before you use it a lot  ;)

Yeah, I noticed that the edges are pretty sharp. I'm going to take care of that shortly. That's really the only issue I've noticed with it so far, besides the sheath. It's way too big for the Kick, and the tool rattling around in it is annoying. I'll have to find another somewhere, or perhaps get a clip for it.

Great score on your new kick. I was able to pick up mine at Walmart for $21.00. No frills, but very functional and easy to pocket carry. I keep mine at home with a bit adapter and a set of LM flat bits. It comes in very hand for quick and easy repairs around the home.

That is a good deal. I think that is about wholesale cost. I think it is one of the best tools for price on the market.  It has the same great drivers and full size pliers that are very wide (elliptical) as the more expensive tools all for a great price
