Last I heard it was being manufactured by Multitasker for Emerson.

Military Times-Gear Scout has pictures of the proto , and a mini review . The proto has metal scales , the prodos will have G10 . It has "Chomper" plier heads , very cool looking tool .

The beast is called the EK-1 .

Emerson=expensive  :think: :think:.

I think there will be a significant mark up on the normal Multitasker price  :think:
I wonder how much. :think: :think:

I know it's a proto, but it's a look that's going to take me some time to get used too.
Has a bit of a cheap look in my opinion as it stands right now.

I can't see much, but I can see some of the things Ernie and I discussed at SHOT have been implemented!

For a man who has earned the right to have an ego the size of LA, Ernie is a really good, down to Earth guy, and I think that comes through in a lot of his "no BS" kinds of designs.

I had that feeling too. But it's probably hand built in a machine shop, and most likely keeps getting revised and reconfigured.

It's a good sight better than Tim's prototypes from years ago... ;)

Make sure to visit CRKT and ask for Tom.  I think he has something to show us.

I donated it to Locks of Love a week before SHOT.

Bear in mind the proto was thrown together a few days before blade , ant that the blades are aluminum "placeholders " . The final iteration of the master blade is supposed to be a chisel ground Tanto . Ther also wasn't time for the G10 scales , the final version will have .
