A Couple of Maxpedition EDC Storage Questions
on:
June 19, 2011, 03:42:57 AM
I was just looking for some advice on two specific items for my Maxpedition EDC Organizer:
Which Moleskine fits best in the back pocket of it? And which do you find most useful (ruled, graph, blank, etc...)
I'm looking for a good way to carry spare batteries. Preferably side-by-side, but without the extra bulk of one of those hard plastic containers you can get from Hong Kong. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I find the best way to carry spare batteries is in a spare flashlight.
What size batteries do you carry, AA, AAA, CR123,....? You can fit 3 AAAs in a matchbox to keep them in one place. A film canister can hold 7 AAAs. or you can put them in a small zip lock bag.

Sorry about the omission
.
It's 3 all together, two each AA, and one AAA.

I carry 2 AAAs and 2AAs in one of those 4 battery containers, I placed the AAAs in AAA to AA adapters, so there's no rattle and I can use them in my 47 AA2 if needed. They are hardly much bigger than the batteries themselves.

Just a quick update. I've come to a solution / decision for both issues in my post here:
