Just two tools in a week is a break.

On a serious note, I am hoping my customer picks up(and pays for) their fireplace mantle this week. If he does, the MTs won't be a burden for the week. If he doesn't, I'll be eating noodles until Saturday.

For me, the real problem is cheap lots. I've found I spend a whole lot more if I buy a bunch of those, as opposed to a couple $20 or more MTs/knives. I figure I didn't dent the old pocketbook too much, and it adds up when I'm not keeping track. Versus a $20 or more purchase I know put a rather big dent in what I make, so I try to slow down.

:iagree:
I have stopped buying a lot of C&C for the same reason. While I still buy a C&C here and there(like the Marble's stuff), I mostly save the $20 here and there for better tools these days. :)

My MARBLES rigger turned out to be a lemon, so I've got one of the solid stainless versions coming next.

Did you happen to read the post I made about the handle edges needing a good filing?

I've got 2 others, 1 with the shackle key, and  1 with the shackle key as well as a can opener.  Hd to do those as well.
Really wanted to like the newer version though.

Ahh. Thanks for the info!

Maybe they'll get the issue sorted on the newer version. Marble's does seem to care a little bit about their name. Not much better, but still more than a lot of US-branded Chinese-made tools.

After waiting longer than I should have, my new twangly noisemaker (guitar) is finally on its way.

New one showed up today.
I'm glad that I'm only using it for paracord.  Spring is weak on the spike and there is no provision for locking.
Still, better than the G-10 version.

You can expect issues with stuff like marbles, but S#M and GE....

Steve,
Sorry you had two disappointments!
That is crazy about the weak springs. :o

Stuff like that can really hurt a company selling top-tier traditionals.

According to Gerber, my MP600 Sight Tool is on its way. Seeing as it's coming from Memphis, not Portland, I'm guessing I'll be getting a new one altogether.

Always liked to get a Blast and finally found a good deal. Now, if i could combine parts of the Rebar, Blast and PST II, i think i would have my perfect MT.

Wait...I think i said that before... :D :twak:

Blast is a cracking tool , if it had the rebars plier head it would be brilliant. Or if the rebar had the blasts tool load it would better.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

Got the check in for some side work. Went buck-wild.

Leatherman PST BO CC.
Gerber Cable Dawg.
Gerber Myth Archery tool.

As well as the previously mentioned NIB SOG ToolClip coming from CeHo.

Going to have to do some more side work if my tendons will allow. Bills paid AND great multitools? Yes please.

Not my photos.
