LED Bulb for Maglite

Is there a substitute LED bulb for Mini Maglite with 2 size AA battery?

I would appreciate it very much if anyone can answer my query. Thanks.

There are two replacement kits- the Nite Ize and the Terra Lux.  I'd stick with the Terra Lux if I were you as it's brighter and retains the focus feature.

There are actually 2 Nite Ize kits, one with 3 LED's and one with just 1, 1 Watt LED, the 1Watt one retains the focusing feature. I have both of the Nite Ize kits and the 1Watt one is much much better in terms of light output but the run time is not quite as good. Quick and dirty beamshot below, 1Watt on left, 3LED on right at about 1m distance.

No problem, i wonder if there's anyone here with both the Terralux and the 1W Nite Ize that could post a beamshot comparison? Enquiring minds would like to know!

I have the single LED one from Nite Ize- with the IQ switch. I am overall pleased with it as well. I think it is a bit brighter than my Inova Vic light as well.

I have several LED upgrades for maglites, and all are pretty good. For value, the 3 LED from NiteIze, although not brightest, is the cheapest way to get some real lumens out of a maglight.

For the record, and this is one of my anal pet peeves, an LED is not a bulb. It is a diode.
