Greetings all, love this site and have been lurking for sometime now. I love mutitools ,knives ,guns etc  I hope to learn much from all of you.

For my show and tell I could post some pics of my knifes and guns I carry daily while I'm at work. Not close to my camera right now but I will post some pics in the near future.
 I found this site because I needed a good multi tool for work. I'm a police /SGT for a large police dept. in Georgia. U.S.A .
After reading alot of your posts I just ordered a leatherman wave. I will carry on my duty belt.
The thing I have noticed about most of the people on here is how polite and willing to help others you are so tha
nks for the warm welcome.

My guess is that with 28 years on the job you are likely to tech us a few things about what constitutes a good multitool- or at least a tough one!

I always find it funny that many officers (and LEO oriented magazines) always encourage officers to carry a good knife, and yet multitool enthusiasm is usually pretty generic and scarce, yet the extra functions of a multitool could make a significant difference in almost every day to day type task police face- other than perhaps traffic stops and drunk wrestling!
