Looking for a Swiss Schmidt-Rubin Bayonet
on: July 31, 2011, 08:20:29 PM
This is the one place I haven't tried, so here it goes....
I'm trying to find the proper bayonet for my Schmidt-Rubin Model 1911 rifle. All of the Swiss bayonets I've come across at gun shows, gun shops, etc are the pioneer type for the K31 carbine. They would fit, but aren't correct for the rifle I have. I've done some research, and the correct on is referred to either as a Model 1899 or Model 1911 bayonet. No saw teeth! If anyone can perhaps point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful. Thanks!
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D
