With the final launch of the Space Shuttle Program today, I bet these SAKs go up in value.

Where did you get that?

Bought it from a member of this board a year or so ago.

Here you go. I had to do a lot of digging to find these older shots.

"Go up in value"?!? They've *been* up in value, since they stopped making them!  One's been on my wish list for a long while, with no luck. (Should've got it back in 1990, when we still had that knife shoppe in the mall.) At this point, I'd take one without the shuttle on the scales, the Master Craftsman, but those are rare too, looks like I might end up with a Ranger, where the only real difference is a corkscrew replacing the Phillips.

IMO you wouldn't be missing much getting a corkscrew instead of a Phillips.  The small screwdriver on the can opener tool works on the most common Phillips head screws and the Phillips screwdriver that is on the back/middle is horrible to use anyway - not a good location at all!

Also - the Vic Ranger is a damn nice SAK!  Very well equipped!
