That is the only one I know of, and one of the very few, very rare, black anodized models.  If you should ever see one for sale anywhere, grab it- even if you don;t want it, someone will pay handsomely to take it off your hands.

Kinda hard to picture the Nuge in that factory in Ibach huh?

Surefire A2 or U2 is next on my buy list - still have not made up my mind.

It would make a nice Christmas gift, maybe I'll ask my wife for one...........Nada that will never come to pass.
Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !

I picked this flashlight up the other day.  I'm not a huge flashlight guy and it's not the most fancy or expensive light in the world but it will come in handy when my stepson's not around to hold on for me.

Thats pretty cool looking.  I bet it does better than my old "snake light" I have that is supposed to stand up or wrap around stuff.  I think I may have to go it one.  How is the brightness...and what type of batteries does it take?

I was looking at those not half an hour ago in a flyer that I got today... they have two sizes available in the flyer and I was wondering if they were any good.

It has three different settings, basically just turning on 1, 2, then all three of the LEDS.  It works good, it's not the brightest of lights in the world when trying to spot on something at distance.  However if working on something upclose it's bright enough.  It takes 3 AAA that fit into the three "legs".  I only payed $14 for it.  I think it will be usefull.

Well it's in my cheap price range LOL.  I agree it will be useful, especially when I am slapping together computers in the basement and I need added light.  Thanks for the info.

Do the Stanley lights have Luxeon LEDs in them, or just regular 5mm LEDs?  This 3xAAA light is really talking to me--it looks like a great size for working around the house.

Def, can we move this thread to the new Flashlight forum?

Apparently, yes... yes we can! :P

I don't know what the bigger ones have but the little one has just a regular LED in it.  It doesn't seem all that bright compared to other lights.  I'll try and get a beam shot pic done....

Here you go- Beamshots of the teeny Stanley versus two Mini Mags (2xAA) with LED Upgrade kits.  The Terra Lux kit is the brightest with a single LED, the Nite Ize kit is next with three LEDs and the Stanley is last with a single LED.

My normal EDC lites are a Photon on the keys , an ARC-P AAA that lives in my multi pouch , A McLUX III-PD , and last but not least a Streamlite Stylus ( mostly used for looking into hollow spaces ) . At  work I sometimes add a Surefire L1 or L2 led lite , if I'm doing light intensive tasks .

For trips into attics and crawl spaces , I use a Petzl Tac-Tika  head lamp .

In c rappy parts of town / night shifts , sometimes a Surefire M3 / CB.

It's a LumaRay FL6.

There's a review of it HERE

I know this topic is ancient, but I have been bored today so I was reading through and found the above.

That thing looks awesome!!!  Did anyone actually go buy one?  Any good?

I would have, but the whole assembly is plastic.  If it was aluminum or steel or some kind of metallic substance I'd have been more interested.

That's a bit disappointing, especially at $70  :(  Does look cool though.

So does the 12 LED version of that, but it's unfortunately about $125... again, way too much to pay for plastic!
