Precision Screw Driver Adapter
on: July 11, 2011, 11:08:00 PM
So I need to keep a Precision Screw Driver set in my EDC for work.  I wanted to reduce the amount I carry so that I have more room for the unique bits that I need in addtion to the standard bits I use.

I removed the bit adapter from the 4 inch extension and it now can fit in the bit adapter for my Leatherman.

It works great and I have just a little bit more room in my EDC bag.

Pretty.

What brand/model is the driver you started with? I'm thinking with a few mods, it might find a place in my truck (aka Raven's Mobile Base of Operations).

I found it at Walmart it appears to be a house brand called UltraSteel.  The bit I used to attache the two adapters is a #4 Hex bit.  Its perfect as the precision bits are 4 MM.  The standard bit adapter is just one I found in the tool box.

I do not know. They look like 4 MM, but I would need to see one for myself.  Maybe some one else could answer it.

So I was in my tool box tonight.  And I found two bits I must of have bought sometime ago as I can't remember getting them.  But they are a standard hex bit to precision bit adapter.  I wish I would have found these the other day.  They are not perfect seem to be not straight but they work.
