Hunting for a pot/saucepan
on: July 18, 2011, 12:04:30 PM
I'm hunting for a pot, small diametre and tall in height. Approx 2.5l to 3L. Similar to the aussie 'billy can' prefably something i can put a small frypan on top as a lid.

As my cullinary vocabulary is limited i have no idea what search words to use to get this style of cooking tool.

Bassically want it to stash in my car with some water, noodles, biscuit etc if i breakdown in the country side and sorting it out looks like a 'extended' affair.

search "cook set" and the follow brands: "snow peak", "primus" , "optimus"

+1 and that cook set. It's a very good and light one.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

I have the 1.75 qt Straight pot and a few other pieces.

I was hoping the bowls would fit inside, but the rims are a little too large. Still, they'll rest on the mouth of the pot and the lid can be strapped on top to keep it all together.
