layer logic..

does anyone have a good writeup of the layer logic? for each layer combination, there seems to be a unique spring, and sometimes different thickness dividers and divider patterns.

is there any logic or duplication to it, or is it just a matter of knowing what each layer looks like?

Disassembly is one of those tasks where having the camera right there, so you can snap two or three shots at each step, even each tool that you remove, can be a good idea. And organize it.

As for what usually fits, there is a pretty good list in IIRC Neil's DIY that is stickied at the top of the Mod Squad.

Granted.  The scaler and the saw have been mixed up and the layers are not in the right order, but other than that it's helpful. :D

Absolutely :)

I remember an exploded view of one of the bigger SAKs (Champion or SwissChamp) that may be useful. Can't remember where
