Believe it or not I suspect it might be a Golfer. :D

I'm not an expert in SAK history but given those exposed pins I believe your SAK could easily date back to the 1950s or even earlier, so it most likely just had a catalogue number and no name.

Technically, that has no name. This is a model from the mid 1950s officially called a "244 ka".

That said, the "collector name" for that would be a Golfer. The Golfer name really applies to a version of that knife with a combo tool instead of a small blade, but for older models like this one made before the combo tool, the name usually gets applied to them too. I do this in my own collection as do most other collectors I know. Another example is 84mm knives with a main blade, small blade and a saw are typically called "Lumberjacks", even though Vic only really ever applied that name to the combo tool version.

I have almost this exact same knife - mines a slightly newer version (late 50s) with "Wild Heerbrugg" on the back instead of the front. Wild was a company in Switzerland that made optical equipment. I've seen a few of these Wild Golfers pop up from time to time - very cool.

Nice find! (PM me if you want to sell it  :D)
