Thanks guys. The ship was cool but they sadly didn’t want me taking pictures in the command room that also was the coolest place on the ship that we were in, and if you ever wondered the Royal Navy still uses Windows XP
I wished that I could see a little more of the ship, like the bridge and mess since that is a usual part of a tour on a Norwegian ship but since they had a bunch of Royal Marines stashed away they couldn’t open up the ship more. I had a little chat with a young officer why he joined the navy and wanted to become an officer, also had the pleasure of meeting a sergeant from the Royal Marines that did a tour in Iraq and we hit it right of since he also loved guns, so we talked a little about the UK gun and knife laws and the difference between UK and Norway. I must say that they sure where a nice bunch of people.
I really don’t know what is up with Picasa since the pics are so small and I want the big pics showing
