got my bo spirit today (and red farmer alox) thanks again tomcrx! 
question, one of the handles is kinda semi-gloss the other three sides are flat black
(not that I'm complaining, it's cool) any body else have this?

I'm guessing it's just from the buffing.

Handle panels on mine are all the same shade of black. (But the rivet heads on one side are silvery colered)

Mine are all very consistent black all around.

I really like the movement of the tools, smoothest yet for me, I really like this tool

I do notice that I can't keep the blades feeling as sharp though.  I don't know if this is because the oxidation causes more drag when cutting through something, or if this is because the oxidation layer actually interferes with the blade edge somehow.

I'd of thought it was more due to the drag caused by the BO finish, I've got fixed blades that have a similar problem
