Looks like Amazon may be up to the same tricks they did last year.  I bought five Spirits at a little less than that price.

Got my three.  I opened one & it doesn't need as much wiping to get rid of the oxidation black that my original one.

question, one of the handles is kinda semi-gloss the other three sides are flat black
(not that I'm complaining, it's cool) any body else have this?

Handle panels on mine are all the same shade of black. (But the rivet heads on one side are silvery colered)

I do notice that I can't keep the blades feeling as sharp though.  I don't know if this is because the oxidation causes more drag when cutting through something, or if this is because the oxidation layer actually interferes with the blade edge somehow.

I'd of thought it was more due to the drag caused by the BO finish, I've got fixed blades that have a similar problem :(
