Of the three you list the Huntsman is my favourite SAK. Not for nothing is it the one Vic use on almost all their logo's. Staying with the 4 layer idea, have you looked at the Wenger Evo 17? Same tool selection as the Huntsman (though the small blade is swapped for a nail file) but the slightly shorter length does make it a touch more pocket friendly.Or how about a Vic Mountaineer? replaces the saw with a metal file; a more versatile tool for urban carry IMO. Heck, I think I just persuaded myself that I need one.

Or if you don't like the evo scales, there's still the original wenger forester model. And the Mountaineers metal file is one of the best I've seen on aa multi, better than Leathermans IMO.
Hi I am returning to the common sense world of SAK carry .I had sold my Champ,Climber and given away my ST I know I have roundly beaten myself for my own stupidity I have narrowed my choice down to three 1 Vic Farmer 2 Vic Huntsman 3 Vic Climber I have a key ring classic for scissors but the Huntsman is edging out in front I will appreciate any thoughts or experiences from people who have them

Well I just had a deep thought and the first number I could think of was 42. As for the colour blue, see THIS POST.
