I would imagine that it's based on a Core.

This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

I know, they're neat cases.  He should start selling them.

As for the pic, I assume those tools are just his EDC and his entire collection is in some vault in his home only accessible by voice, retinal and handprint scan.

I hear Bob's collection is also surrounded by laser trip wires and a moat.

I am pretty sure County Comm has one, it think it's call the Ultimate Collectors case. A gun case will also work, the bands are for pistol magazines.

That looks nice. Probably all prototypes to the last.  :D

In all seriousness, I would have loved to have been there to get one with his signature on it.

According to Juli from last year's post, Tim's multitool has features on it that none of the others have. Something about having what "He always wanted on him". Figured it would be along the lines of a titanium Charge.   :D  Thanks.

Now what joy would there be in that? Half of the fun of being a dad is to have your daughter bring a prospective suitor over for an introduction while you are doing something intimidating. Like:
  • Cleaning a gun
  • Loading shells
  • Target practice
  • Sharpening a knife or sword
  • Etc...
And you also have to practice your "crazy eyes", so that when she says something like: "Oh, don't worry about my dad", you can give him that look that says "I'm going to rip your heart out if you don't follow my rules"

Call me stupid, but what was "The Signing"?  Was this a gathering where Tim signed or engraved tools?  I see what looks like an electric engraver in the first photo.  What was the occasion?
