My 1983-84 PST and a MUT!
on: September 08, 2011, 06:08:52 AM
Glad to be here... I'm a long time collector/enthusiast in Leatherman country and own several, including this very early release PST. Tim estimated this at late 1983 or 84. Glad to be here and contribute!

Do you like Devils rejects or house of 1000 corpses better?

I am also mainly a Leatherman guy but have recently bought a few Victorinox Swiss Tools and fell in love with them. They are definitely worth looking into if you want to branch out. The overall fit and finish is remarkable. This is my (used) but new to me Victorinox Swiss Tool that is coming my way from a fellow member.

He also has some great deals on new in box Leatherman Waves that you might be interested in.

$80 is a fair price for a new Swiss Tool. There are many models that look very similar so it is hard to say, but to the best of my knowledge they are all around the same price range.

EDIT: I forgot to add if you look around the For Sale section around here you will probably find one for cheaper.

Welcome!  If you are looking to branch out, this is the right place.  Multitools, knives, one piece multitools, flashlights, watches, backpacks... Say goodbye to your money and hello to a world of friendly, knowledgeable enablers.
