Victorinox Rubicut knife sharpener, anyone use one?

I think I'd give it a miss, that type of sharpener never leave a good edge in my experience

Those are a fast and easy way of getting a "good enough" edge but if you want a real edge, you have to use something a little more dedicated.

I've used those types of sharpeners before... good enough for your average knife and person, but you don't really want to a) "ruin" your premium blade with extended use on them b) just have a "fairly sharp" edge when you've payed for the latest & greatest steel.

Sorry for any misunderstanding. I am pretty good at sharpening by hand with my DMT Dia-sharps and Spyderco ceramic bench stones, and I also have an EdgePro. Was just wondering if anyone had used one is all. Personally, I don't like the pull through sharpeners either.
