I don't know that much about the SwissGrip and Minigrip. Are they good tools? Does Wenger/Victorinox still make them?

The big one is the SwissGrip, the middle one is the PocketGrip and the weird silver lima bean shaped one is part of their Porsche designed models. I am not certain if the Porsche models are still in production, but they came out maybe about 5 years ago, and were quite expensive if I remember correctly.
The other two are in production still, but aren't imported to North America because Wenger doesn't want to try and compete in the Multitool market here, according to the Marketing Manager for Wenger NA.
I haven't seen too many PocketGrips with the metal scales though- most of the ones I come acros have the regular red cellidor scales.

You do know your Wengers Def. The middle one is an "Iron PocketGrip," apparently because of those metal scales instead of the red plastic. I got it from a fellow in Australia.
All of the Wenger tools are of outstanding quality. And they all function fine, they just look strange. I wonder why Wenger didn't engineer their multi tools with a more conventional plier layout?

I've got a red pocketgrip... so the big black handled one is the SwissGrip?

Yup- the big black handled one is the SwissGrip, which also comes in red.
Wenger actually has been making these for a very long time now (dunno when they started) but the non folding plier has always been "their thing." Personally, I like the non folding plier- it seems sturdier than any other multis I have, bar none.

Best thing about the SwissGrip is the folding machete it comes equipped with.

Not to mention that you could probably take down a fair sized tree with that saw.... I think that's probably the biggest saw available on a multi!
