Someone here in Portland is selling their sterling silver boxed leatherman for 300 on craigslist. Not into it myself but is that a good deal. Anyone else have one?

I have one - paid retail ($550) for it. If the one you are looking at for $300 has, the display case, papers, etc, run, don't walk.

Yes, that is a very very good price. I paid 450 for mine when they first came out.

..considering how much it costs elsewhere.

just set myself to get an 888/999 serial number..which is highly impossible to get...

its a self restrained system... :pok:jo
but then again..maybe not..if money no object to acquire one next time.

It is a good deal but i'm not into it too much. I like users. I'd be more into obscure or hard to find regular models. Maybe someone else here will pick it up
