Squirt Torx question

G'Day,

Will the Torx screws from an ES4 be long enough to re-assemble a Squirt P4 once the rivets have been drilled out?

I don't know sorry, had the PS4 but never the P4.

My riveted ES4 doesn't have torx screws, but the handles measure 12.5mm thick, while my P4s are 11.0mm thick.  So it appears the torx screws from an ES4 will be more than long enough for a P4 (and may even need to be shortened slightly, but I have my doubts that they would have been built to that close a tolerance).

Thanks for checking.

I also checked (will measure tomorrow) the length of the Micra with the additional aluminium handle and compared that to the P4. They look similar in length too.
I have to agree, not to sure if they will use such close tolerances. I might just see if I can get a beater Alu Micra and test the screws. I hope the Micra and P4 pivots are the same diameter.

I'm pretty sure the P4 and micra use different sized pivots.
