I love my Saddleback, it is the front pocket ID wallet.  This one is about 3 years old and other than the leather patina and smoothness, you wouldn’t be able to tell.

Nice.  Leather ages so well that I actually love the look of it vs new leather.

I only buy ones that configure the cards this way so they can’t fall out now.

Awesome! Great to see it from the inside, too  I recently watched a vid by a guy who did a 5-year review of his Men Leather Wallets... and he'd managed to tear it up a bit on the edges kinda. I can't imagine how, maybe he carried a pile of cards, lol.
I'd like to find a wallet where the marketing words "supple" or "buttery soft" are not used. I want something that will take 2 years to break in and I can keep it until they bury me with it, many many years from now (god willing). I've seen a lot of truckers and biker wallets made from thick hide, but not in a bifold or trifold wallet. Does anyone know of a maker of such an animal?

I want to buy this one: https://vonbaer.com/products/classic-bifold-leather-wallet
Italian leather. Been dreaming of it for the last couple of months.

I have long used Big Skinny products because they are so thin.  The leather card holder is my favorite "wallet", because it will eat many cards but retains a profile that is as thin as possible.

Currently hunting for a trifold to replace my aging quiksilver one, I've seen photos of a Victorinox one but Amazon only seems to have the bifold right now. No luck finding any Wenger ones.

Seems I missed out.

I mentioned elsewhere that I'd gotten a new wallet, and LoopCutter asked to see photos. So here it is.

It's the Carhartt Nylon Duck Zipper Wallet.

It's a little bulky for front pocket carry, and could do well to have a little more room in the bill compartment. But it holds all the cards I need for the day-to-day and then some.

And it has RFID blocking and this spiffy lining. :tu:

Though I may get a different wallet sometime, I'm happy enough with this one. The one I made out of gutted paracord (which was showing its age and not very well-done) has officially been retired.

Thank you!

I can see why this style was selected.

I have not seen this style at Rural King or another Carhart outlet.
I looks this. Yet keeps items protected. 👍👍👍
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I know it doesn't do you a whole lot of good, but there are a few of them at Detroit's bigger Carhartt store. If you're unable to find one, I could get you one if desired.

I’ve always had a thing for slim front pocket wallets. (And with the amount I spend on wallets, and EDC, it keeps them pretty slim!)

When I was a young ‘un, my first few wallets were mostly skateboard branded ones, i.e. Vision Street Wear, etc.

About ten years, I got into making my own.

In the picture, is probably the last one I made myself, which is a simple sleeve made of faux leather.
It’s based on an A-Slim Ninja Wallet.
(It’s the one with the light blue card in it.)

There’s also a Herschel Black Camo Wallet, which was good for coins – thanks to the zippered section. Though, it was always a bit too big for my liking.

Next was the horizontal leather card holder, which was a present from a previous job I had a few years ago.

And the final wallet in the picture, is an Alpaka Up Card Holder.

I really like this pop-up pull tab design, which ejects the cards out of the central compartment.

It really gives a certain flourish, when paying for something. (Though, I really must stop that. ;) )

I like those slim wallets, and will make myself one if I ever become proficient at leather working. :tu:

It’s certainly worth giving it a go.
It’s a great opportunity to create exactly what you want.
It’s also just fun to make things, even if they aren’t perfect.
(Just look at my stitching! ;) )

And, if you don’t like the design, it’s easy enough to try something different.

As I say, I think that particular wallet is about the fourth design I made.
And probably one of my favourites, because I made it myself.

Plus, it cost nothing as it was made from an old broken folio case I had lying around.  :tu:

Several years ago I lost my wallet.  It was one of those Velcro close nylon things.  When I had to replace it I went with something like I remembered my grandfather carrying.  A simple leather billfold.

I picked this one up off of the eBay for something like $10.00.   It originally had the leather lacing but I had to replace it a couple years back.

Reminds me of the late 60's.

F-15 Eagle :D My favorite plane since I was a kid. I saw it on Reddit and tracked it down to an Etsy store.
