Whoops!
on:
December 24, 2007, 03:19:53 AM
Guess what I just did guys? I accidentally won a SOG knife that I didn't want to win on eBay! It is a discontinued AirSOG, and I accidentally got it for 41USD. I have that much, but I wanted to put that money toward a Tomcat.
Any suggestions?
Or
Does anyone want to buy a discontinued SOG knife?

I used to have one of those! But if I remember correctly I sold it to a friend for 50 bucks!

Was it a good knife? I like it, but besides the fact that I want a Tomcat, the one I accidentally won is fully serrated, with a clip-point.

It's a nice knife for what it is- I always liked it, but if you aren't a fan of knives like that then it probably won't do much for you!
That seller is a good guy too- I have bought a few things from him and never been disapointed.

Its a great knife.. I used to cut everything with it.. I think I even used it once to cut PVC pipe! The serrations were razor sharp and the knife felt real good in the hand.. Took it fishing with in my teens!

When you receive it, contact the guy who had the next highest bid and ask him if he still wants to buy it. Let him know you made a mistake and you thought you were bidding on the Tomcat.

Good idea, I might do just that.
But some of you guys's comments aren't exactly helping.

If you are hoping someone will make you an offer for it, try listing it in the For Sale or EDC Swap forums in hopes that they'll get the hint!

I'l probably do that, but I might be able to keep it, depending on how much Christmas money I get!

I got enough to get both the AirSOG and even a new Tomcat!!!!
Best... Christmas.... EVER!
The AirSOG will likely stay with me, but depending on how useful it ends up being, I still might sell it.
