Wanted: Classic, Lumberjack and Farmer in Alox

Hi everyone,

just joined the forum yesterday, this place has been very informative so far  .

I'm looking to build a small collection of SAKs, and would appreciate any offers or tips for acquiring the following models for now:

Classic Alox in Green
Lumberjack Alox in Red
Farmer Alox in Blue

Thanks for the heads up, that classic sure looks sweet  . I'll have to be patient though, no money left till next week  . As for the Lumberjack, darn that looks nice in blue, but I think I'll be holding out for a red one (those Swiss Bianco models are nice  ). Might also be a good idea to get a feel for the price range first, since I don't have a whole lot of experience with buying rare SAKs yet.

Updating the list:

1. Classic Alox in Green - thanks to AHB, should be arriving next week
2. Lumberjack Alox in Red x2 - One is for a Voyageur mod
3. Farmer Alox in Blue
4. Spare 84mm scissors, or any model that has them (Golfer, 84mm Climber) - Needed for the Voyageur mod.

I think you can forget to use the red lumberjack to do your mod.
These are limited made by Swissbianco and hard to find.
If you find one, expect some minimal price $100 + or much more.
Better you can start your experiment with the cadet (silver or orange are the cheapest).
The bantam is an single layer 84mm and the cadet an two layer alox 84mm.

Thanks, but I think I'll look for trading opportunities first, $ 125 seems a bit steep IMO, but is probably normal considering how rare they are. I'd rather trade my ramblers first. Might change my mind though . Thanks anyway

5. Alox Cadet in Red - I just realized these don't come in the normal blue.

I'm not really surprised. Nevertheless it's still an amount I'm not sure I can afford to spend on a single SAK. Might have to do some more saving up.
