I owned and used mine for a couple of years, in fact I only gave it to a friend when I got a full sized tool (Leatherman that is before we all snigger
)
I thought the scissors were great and never experienced a problem with them, so maybe that is a warranty issue. I didn't like the ways the tools clump and thought they were a bit cheap, but the blade is great and I loved the sprung pliers.
Two years of trouble free service from it, and for the price, I certainly had no complaints
