On the hunt for a Wenger Flyfisherman, I've had some responses.  I don't see a Flyfisherman in this group, but am not sure what they are.  I believe one  is a Trout and the other a Fisherman.  SG, can you tell?

Really need to see the toolsets.

Top - Bass (locking blade) or Trout

Middle one- Possible Fisherman...a later release of the Fly Fisherman, same tools.

Bottom - Same as middle...the clue is both have the corkscrew. Most Wenger Fishing knives have the Phillips.

Hopefully, Wenger experts will be along to help narrow our ID's.

An assortment of Wenger fishing knives. The bottom two are Fly Fishermen/Fishermen. In addition to the lure and stylized trout, there are versions with the regular trout and with plain handles. - 1.19.25

There is also a variant of the Fly Fisherman with a nail file instead of the flat phillips. - 1.19.03 (no name); and another variant with a small clip blade instead of the flat phillips - 1.19.13. This version was also sold as the Sailfish with that logo.

The knives are in Holland at the moment, so I don't know if there is a variant directed just to that market.  The seller is asking $100 USD for the three of them.  I appreciate everyone's help with this, as I'm learning the SAK game as I go along, especially Wengers.  My son has a real attraction for the Flyfisherman, as that is his hobby, and loves Wengers too.  Prior to my joining the forum, I had a lone Vic Huntsman that I got new in '83, a Classic from '85, and a late '90's PST.  Now my collection is growing to the point that I might be sleeping with it in my 71 VW Camper lol!!  You guys are awesome and I really appreciate the education and the help.  :tu: :tu:

I believe it's the later Fisherman logo also appearing on the EVO Fisherman (19). ColoSwiss has one on Classic Style scales in his pic!  :2tu:

I like the pocket-ability of this bad boy. It is just a tad shorter than a similar Victorinox, enabling it to slip into my watch pocket nicely. As far as tools go, I really like the scissors, the wrench and the extra belly on the main blade  :tu:

The stylized trout is not the logo appearing on the top knife in the photo. Hard to tell, but it looks like it might be a fish on a line.

The fishing fly shows up on both the Fly Fisherman and Angler, the two knives on the bottom right. Would not be surprised to see it on one of the other fishing knives Wenger did (Troller, Catch and Release, etc).

According to my 1 cup of coffee google-fu this morning, this is a variant of the fly fisherman (cat # 1.19.25) with a trout printed on the scale instead of a fly. The outside back springs are a bit weak, but the blade/tools are all like new.

I just noticed the missing tweezers  :-[. Surprisingly (to me) there isn't a place for a toothpick on the other scale

Is that a flat phillips driver in the main blade layer?

Edit: After googling, I see that it is!  Fantastic.  I would much have this tool than the nail file.  I hadn't seen that before.

I just won one on EBay....appears to be a 4 layer with scissors, saw, etc. and a Philips head and punch on the backstrap.   Pictures to follow....I can hardly wait for it to get here!  I haven't had a chance to figure out the model, but it only cost me $11.50. :D
