I hope that they take a good try at the concept of assisted opening. It seems that Kershaw is most likely the best out there for it and they most likely will be looking into thier bar and spring systems.

By the way are they going with a decent steel for the blade?

I personally think SOG has the assisted technology down. I don't think they'll have a problem. I have at least three or four of them, and they are excellent. I can't speak for Kershaw though.


More than half of SOG's folding knives are assisted technology.

I prefer Kershaw's assisted opening... But Buck has horrible assisted opening- its so incredibly slow!
