Currently rocking a Countycomm Rev.2 Stainless Steel Embassy pen. It's just great in every aspect. I've also got a Papermate tri-grip on me and a cheap freebie pen which both serve as my giveaway/not too fussed about pens.

Handed someone my Embassy pen the other day after talking about "heavy" pens. Think I might have changed their minds about what "heavy" really is  ;)

Scott.

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. So pens are all over the place. My most commonly carried is a Bic med ball point black. Its a nice bold black stroke and its really light. Plus they're around 10¢ a stick. So I loan them out when people ask instead of giving them my zebras. I used to carry a sharpie ultrafine black. But they bleed too much.

In my case is a graphgear 500, clicky eraser and a Japanese brush pen. I should take some photos.

I have a couple of favorite writing tools, some for their great writing, some for their great design, and some for both features. All time favorite write swung: Parker Roller Ball.

One of my favorite pencils off all time is the Sharp Kerry. I wish they made a pen version with space pen refills.

+1

Parker Vector Roller Ball in stainless steel has been my go to writing tool since 2006. Got quite a few compliments on how smooth it writes from people that borrowed it.

Here's a pic of most of my pens, there's a few custom built ones in there, like the 6" bolt, or all the blue ones, one in which was a awl, and the other four which are made from crochet needles, but my fav are the zebra 701's. All are diff, I changed out the inks and also made one into a pencil. Sorry the pics ain't to good, it's only my ipad, JR

I've been using a Uniball Power Tank for the last 6 months or so.

They're pressurised and waterproof like a Space Pen but 1/10th the price. It's tough, I've had it in my pocket pretty much constantly, and it will write on things most other ball points won't.

Performance is good and it's cheap enough that I won't cry for too long if it goes walkies.

I still use Zebra F-301s; while I did get a SS Embassy pen, it ended up going to my Uncle, and I grossly underestimated the size of my Fisher Stowaway, which just sits on my desk, too small to carry.  I'm still looking for a decent upgrade for my pens, though, not that I have any real need to upgrade. :/

I wanted to write quite exactly the same.
At work, more expensive Pens tend to get borrowed for, well ever.
The Uni Ball has a good grip, writes smooth and is really cheap compared to the Space Pen or Diplomat Spacetecs i also own.

Nothing special but I love the pilot precise V5RT pens, cheap and write consistent and very smooth. I enjoy writing with them and they actually make my writing look legible which is a pretty big feat.

Ok, no so much a mod as a from scratch build. I finally carved out some time to make this.

I borrowed the Alpha pen's body design to make my own sharpie marker. I have been carrying and using the alpha pen ever since it got shipped to me. I have been on the look out for a kickstarter but no one seems to want to make one. I know there are Sherpa pen holders but the design isn't what I wanted. This one is turned from 6160 aluminum starting from a 5/8" stock. The threads are a 1/2" fine thread.

It's very rare that everything comes together so nicely, very very rare. I almost waiting for a black hole to emerge from inside this pen. Basically it's refillable by taking a sharpie marker, pulling out the grip and insert and shoving it into the handle.

It seals with an O-ring so the sharpie nib won't dry out, I am pretty proud of this one. If I have time later, I'll make up another Round insert holder so that I can mimic the Ti Alpha pen even further.

Maybe I can call this the delta pen, it sure isn't nice enough to be a beta-pen.

There is always a way, hack on!

Bought a Umarex Perfecta Tactical Pen TP II this week. Is replacing my S&W MP. Uses Parker refills, too. Smoother to hold than it looks, very nice to write with.
