Hey, it was actually a hasty set-up with a camera I haven't used in months. I was a little rusty with it. Once you have it for a little while with some better lighting you'll be taking much better pics. It's really an easy camera to use. :)

It seems to be working fine, I'll take it to work tomorrow and have a guy I work with check it out more. He uses his almost every day and can't say enough good things about it. I should be able to pack it up at work and get into the mail on the way home tomorrow. I'm checking all the cables, software, manuals and other stuff right now and it looks like I have everything.

Benner, I just got home from the post office and your package is in the mail. :mail:  I sent it "Express Mail International". They say that that is 5 business days. I tried to send it "Global Express Guaranteed" but the guy at the (small country) post office couldn't find the right form. That was 1-3 business days. I didn't want what happened to Eddie to happen to you. I mailed his on Dec. 17 and he still doesn't have it. This is unacceptable and can't happen again. Anyone else that lives overseas and wins one of my contests will get the best shipping available. Damn the cost, this is the Big Leagues!

Please go through the packaging very carefully, don't throw anything away until you have thoroughly gone through it. I may have slipped in a few other goodies, I can't remember.

Enjoy my friend,

Calvin

I was at the post office yesterday to inquire about the package from Calvin. I was informed that normally it takes 2 weeks for packages from USA to reach us here, but since there were so many holidays between Dec 17 and Jan 1 it will take longer. Plus the fact that it was Christmas and the volume of mails handled by our postal service here is more than quadrupled. I am confident I will receive the package in the next few days.

Congrats again, Benner!

Eddie

I didn't even get a chance to vote. I've been extremely busy this week.

I was going to vote for Benner anyway though. Congratulations, man!

Wow! Calvin you are one seriously generous guy! I'd like to win one of your competitions just for the fun of opening up the box and looking for all the little gems hidden away, i wouldn't really care what was in it!

Have fun with all your new stuff Ben.

So that's where my "anti monkey butt powder" went, and I'm chafing! :ahhh

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone but I've been sick as hell. I felt good enough yesterday afternoon to get to the post office to send the LMan his Surge but had a real bad relapse in the evening.

I'm glad Eddie and Benner got their packages and are pleased with the stuff. When it comes to buying things I'm better than most women!

Now that WhichDawg, Eddie and Benner all got the goodies from the first two contests guess what? That's right, it's time for the 3rd and final (for a while anyway) contest.

This contest will start Saturday evening and run for a week. There will be three winners, with the 1st winner getting his choice of prizes. The main giveaways will be a Charge XTi, Charge Ti and a Vic Spirit. Each package will also include a SAK, a small flashlight of some sort, an OtterBox 1000, a Pelican 1010 waterproof box, a Fischer Space Pen (bullet) with keychain pouch, a waterproof pen, some "Rite in the Rain" notebooks, "S" biners and other assorted EDC stuff. Everything is new and although the packaging may be opened, it is unused.

Look for my post sometime Saturday for the start of the contest. It will be another roll of the dice to determine the winners.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words,

Calvin

Yeah, it sucks to be sick.  I'm trying real hard not to be sick until Sunday when I'm off again, but I don't know how well that will work!

Fell better soon buddy!

Thanks guys, I'm home right now chilling out and feeling better, but I thought I was going to die last night! I tell you it was bad and I rarely even feel bad much less actually get sick. I've been very fortunate during my life to have good health even though I don't always take care of myself like I should. I sure hope I can make it back to work tomorrow, thing are backing up fast. :ahhh
