SAK's On Carry Lanyards!

Now I Know Some Of You Make Carry Lanyards For Your SAK's, So You Can Carry Them From Your Belt Loop, Or You Can Hang It From Your Belt Loop And Into Your Pocket.

So Let's See Em! I'd Really Like To See Peoples Carry Set Ups For Their SAK's.

I'm Gonna Post A Few Of The Carry Lanyard I Put On My Vic. Explorer. So You'll Get To See It As It's Getting Carried. I'll Post Pics Of The Rest Of Them Later As I Take Them!

Now Keep In Mind, This Is Just My Belt Loop Carry Lanyard, My Girlfriend Made Me Another Lanyard That Will Be Put On It The Second I Get It!!!

I've been considering an Explorer as it's the smallest model that has the inline philips driver.

I never used any long carry lanyards for my EDC SAK.
I use use a piece of an old soft shoestring for inside my pocket.

Cool topic, finally something I can contribute to.

I'm not much of a fan of just decorative lanyards. My standard lanyard has multiple functions. Here's my tackle box of lanyard making goodies... wide selection of paracord and shock cord. Lots of cord lock varieties, super important skull beads and lots of buckles.

Here is what my standard lanyard looks like. Nothing fancy, but I always use a cord lock of some type. This is a standard grenade style cord lock, tough skull and a compass cord lock.

I do my lanyards this way so pocket carry is easy, as it keeps the knife vertical.

Notice also my awesome paracord belt!

The cord lock also makes it a nice way to lock it to my wrist if I'm working somewhere that dropping the knife might mean losing it!

I Carry Most Folding Knives Tip Up Because That Way The Lanyard Sticks Out Of My Pocket.
Not Only Does It Look Great, And Adds To It Not Being Concealed, It Makes It Even Easier To Pull The Knife Out Of The Pocket.

The only reason I have a lanyard on this one is because it is soooo hard to find in my pocket without it.

Haha! I just bought it from a friend last week and had taken it to my wedding reception yesterday because I knew my 17 yo nephew would get a kick out of it. I have no intention of *actually* carrying it. Well, except tomorrow to watch my boss's eyes pop out of his head when I find some excuse to pull it out at one of our Monday meetings.

I've focused my collection to Climbers (as you have so generously helped me with

) and any regular run/factory model with a magnifying lens (seems you have fed my addiction there as well!).

If I could find an XXLT at a reasonable price I would be all over it, but more than that I'm holding out for the elusive Swisschamp XL.
