Dows anybody knows if is it possible to visit Victorinox factory? :think:
On March I'm going to Europe, and really would like to try to do that.  :pok:
I'm going to France and Switzerland, and I also would like indications of good stores to buy a few knifes. :gimme:  :climber:

Yes it is possible. I am going in the summer of 2012. That was my wife's idea, actually :)
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

I think you cannot actually see inside the factory, but there is a good museum of SAKs there. I could be wrong. Swissbianco has some youtube videos of a visit there. It might give you an idea.

I was in Switzerland about five years ago, but didn't make it anywhere near Ibach. However Swiss Army knives are everywhere in Switzerland. Both Zurich and Luzern have a number of excellent knife shops; check the local yellow pagers under "Messer". Most tourist souvenir shops also carry a wide variety of SAKs. In addition department stores and jewelry stores often carry knives with special handles in addition to regular models. The best place I found for older knives was the flea market in Zurich, now apparently closed for the winter. Basically keep your eyes open and good hunting!

If you're near Luzern, check out Mt Pilatus. One of the world's longest cable car rides up to the top. Coming down the back side you're on the steepest cog railway in the world. Spectacular!

Watch out for dragons in the tunnels on the summit.  The alpenhorns - or a cold beer - may keep them at bay...    :cheers:
