Victorinox cable knife/MOD

Hi

As you know i usually never MOD a knife, not long ago i bought a Victorinox cable knife that they still have in their catalogue, it is marked Victoria crossbow, i am not sure what steel, if carbon steel, the blade is made for pro use in the cable industry, atleast it is listed in the catalogue... it comes without a sheath, i have sanded the handle, its beech i believe and oiled well, also i put on a hole for a lanyard+ put on a cross, the handle was alittle rough on the surface, it has a very good tang this knife, maybe the handle is alittle small for my hands but also maybe it is comfortable...style of blade is Wharncliffe and it has many uses....it is a very low cost knife, probarbly ordered in big numbers by companies, a friend of mine made the sheath, i really like this, its high quality, even put on my initials.

This i did as a pet project, now it has many possibilities..what do you think?

PS i also filled the very small gap between tang and handle...

Nice knife, but way better with your modifications.  Yes a Sheepsfoot blade is a great blade for many things.  A couple knives I use that are not SAKs are some various sized Sheepsfoot blade knives from BarkRiver.  I might try to find that Vic one though, I'd like to have it.
