What the... Manufacturer intentionally dulls axe edge!

Some of you may remember me bitching about how factory "edge" on new axes are non-existent, well now I know why, watch the video start from 4:35, after the guy finishes the axe, he push the edge straight into belt sander to take off the edge.  :ahhh

They have to do that for 'Health an Safety'  :salute:

Too many people in Quality Control were cutting themselves  :rofl:

I want an Estwing now. :/

They really do last a lifetime.  My dad has had the same long handled all steel estwing all his life.

Love Estwings... got a claw hammer with the leather handle and it's the only tool I actually covet in my carpentry bag!

That guy in the video must not have worked on my Estwing as it came fairly sharp.   :D
