refurbed a PST II
« on: February 27, 2021, 08:01:00 AM »
I'm a fan of the older tools, and OG models, and try to snag them when I can.
I got this PST II a couple days ago.
It was pretty beat up,looked like acid was spilt on it,and it was sand blasted, and had bad rust.
I stripped it out, using a couple mini vise grips (no parsing tools yet, waiting for the postal service to resume),and tried to do a refurb. A restoration was out of the question due to the severity of the pitting.
Looks half-way decent now.
I had to take a group pic with the other variations of this model, seemed fitting.

thanks for looking

PST II is my all-,time favorite Leatherman. Returning one is one of the best things you can do.

Congrats!
