Incredible deal. Wow!!!!

This just arrived today. I lightly used PST2 and leather sheath. An early one from before Leatherman started stamping the name on the handles. And as luck would have it, it’s from January of 1997, the same month and year as my PST.

My (Late) Wife bought me a Leatherman MUT in December 2018, it was coming from the UK and going to Perth, Western Australia. It arrived the day after she passed on the 24th Jan 2019.

I got it engraved that weekend.

Cheers everyone

I must confess that it was a lucky score. I found it by chance and made the seller a offer...the rest is history as they say.

She won't let me display tho'. I need a man cave!

Dear smurf-lord. A gorgeous LM display and it is forbidden to display it? That is some serious MT-purgatory. :ahhh

Nice find, tosh!

I get where she's coming from...
An 11yr old son that almost daily brings back his friends - I think she just doesn't want a MT (AKA knife) display that starts rumours. "So and so dad collects knives", "has them displayed in the house" etc etc
It's not really something I want to be known for - nobody really knows about my collection. My partner and son and two very close mates...that's it....Oh' and you lot!!  :pok:  :D

Besides, out of sight means I appreciate them more when they do come out.

Makes sense now.

Believe me, the reputation as "the guy who owns a thousand Leathermans" is aggravating, as you rightly assume. For one, I only have 350 MTs/SAKs. And secondly, only a small portion are Leathermans. But, in the US, some people even call a $10 Wal-mart tool a "leatherman." I refer to such people as 'Tool-Bozos'.
I don't even display mine(not yet anyway...haha). :)

Collected my TTI today.  :woohoo:

Like new condition so I think this may also get locked away until I find a ‘user’. But I think I’ll still do a short write-up on my thoughts compared to a few of my other LMs. Even with Free breaking cover, I am sure many will still see the Charge as a desirable MT.   :dunno:
