It's not a LM though. :pok:  :D

Still cool anyway. :like:

1999 NIB PST, in sealed blister pack   :salute:

A little oxidation on the sheath’s brass rivets, and it looks like a spot of surface rust on the cutters, so this baby’s getting released from its packaging...20 years on. Look away now if you’re a collector of unopened MTs.

More pics to follow once I’ve got over the excitement.  :ahhh

Sliced the blister where it was folded at the bottom. Could then slide out the PST and sheath without further damage to the packaging.  :tu:

PST needs a gentle wipe with an oil rag after 20 years in plastic. But everything perfect, blade sharp, nice snap on the pliers and tools. Dated 1100 how cool is that!

Sheath rivets have quite a bit of green copper corrosion but simply wipes off. A little oil on a qtip should sort them out.

Nice surprise in the sheath...user guide, accessory brochure and registration page. Wonder if I register if I can still qualify for the cash draw?

Something special about being the first-time user of this classic Leatherman. I’ll put the sheath away but will certainly carry the PST on special days, and use with care.  :salute:

That is awlsome, Max! :like:

Love that feeling of freeing old tools that have been locked away in plastic for years. I've only ever had reservations about doing it one time, but I generally enjoy opening vintage blisters. :D
