No need for another Leather.  The Wave Plus covers all the bases.  A "black-out" version would be neat though.

The BO are very nice!  :tu:

A mystery sheath...

I’m sure to get lots of suggestions on this one, snuff pouch, coin dispenser, broken Gerber bits holder...

Has the old logo and branding “Leatherman Tool Group, Inc”. Was thinking the tool adapter, but that came in a hard belt case. Too large for the MiniTool or Micra. Predates Juice/Squirt. Maybe some kind of combination of tools?

So let’s see who’s first to give a credible answer, but will accept other use submissions too.  :pok:

If the Tool Adapter fits then I will venture it is just another option of sheath for it :salute: Very cool looking sheath BTW :o :like:

Well this seems odd...a pouch for a case? It does fit if I remove the belt clip. Can’t put the goodies in loose, as you’ll lose the bits. Maybe it’s a bit more secure?  :dunno:

Anyways, one of LM’s more obscure pouches. May end up getting used for something else...

 :iagree: :dd:

Seriously though, I think  that there may be a variation that isn't a case but holds the adapter and the bits that would fit in the pouch  Or at least seems like I remember seeing something like that sometime or another

Of course if the case fits it then it may just be the sheath for it the way you have it :D

From another seller, picked up this late ‘99 PST-II today.  :woohoo:

Advertised as ‘hardly used’, and when I met the seller, he said it’s been in his cupboard, forgotten and unused since he bought it. Not a scratch and as clean and shiny as the day it came out of Portland.

Dang...I’m so pleased it’s mint, but I was expecting a user. Now this one has to get put on the shelf. Not that I’m complaining; the PST-II is one of my favorites.

And this gives me an excuse to look for another...

I think it’s still a mystery...  :dunno:
Nothing mysterious.
It's just sheath for tool adapter and bits. In plastic case without clip.
Comes leather or nylon variant.

Better tell us where you bought it.
I need one for my collection   ;)

Thank you wowaboro  :salute: mystery confirmed as solved!

Seller only had the pouch and had no idea what tool it was for...

Email Leatherman?  :dunno:
From Leatherman today:
“Thank you for contacting Leatherman Tool Group.

That is an old sheath that held the bits for our tools. There was a bit kit that came with it, but we are no longer selling those and have upgraded to the latest version of our bits.”

So this confirms wowaboro‘s post. And good of Leatherman to reply to this obscure request.  :salute:
