Whilst I no longer collect tools, I'm usually on the look out for SAK or MT memorabilia  :D

Grabbed a pair of leatherman display stands (ebay pics below) which duly arrived today.
The tragedy is I grabbed a job lot  last year (bottom picture) and the parcel still sits in the garage un-opened

Someday I'll have my mancave  :dd:

So I received Mt leatherman T4 a week ago. Its OK but not great. Very bulky, I like the Free P4 and the features on the T4 are good but it's just soooooo big. A medium sized Swiss army :climber: has the same features but half the thickness.

Really interested in your brutal honesty
Any chance of uploading a pic showing the size comparison between the T4 and SAK?

It's the thickness and square finish. As a small pocket carry the SAK wins. The leatherman is clearly a better tool. I might take the pocket clip off and see how that feels.
I own a P2 as well and the size difference between the two is minimal, I feel like I should just carry the P2 and have a set of pliers on me for not much difference in size.
I'll try again to post pics. Won't seem to upload them.

Have to say that does look quite uncomfortable for pocket carry

My wife gifted me this Free P2 recently, and I’m getting along very well with it - tho, I have some thoughts on ways to improve it.

Love me free P2. Curious as to what you would modify. Used mine all weekend for a variety of jobs and it's been great. Only thing I'm not overly happy with is the large serations on the blade, they seem overly deep.

I would like to see a nail knick on the package opener for starters. Maybe smooth out the plier grips a little.

To commemorate the fifth year passing (3/18/16 DOD) of my late father. He had earned the nickname “the old Gray Coyote,” while he worked at the Lake Powell Generating Station. I also bought a green Micra for my Mom, with a howling Coyote on the back, and a personal engraving on the other side. I want to get a similar tool for my brothers when I can.

I just caved and ordered this Charge+. I also have a Leatherman Micra for myself, and my brothers I’ve ordered to hope to get to them around the time my father passed. The Charge+ might be a gift for my older brother for a different reason, or I just might keep it myself. If I do, I’d sell my Wave+

It just references a character, Soundwave, from the Transformers universe.

Made my first trip to Lowe's in over a year, as I needed a specialty gas cap for a walk-behind lawnmower. Decided to get a Free T2 while I was there. It's a bit of a gimmicky design, but MUCH better than the Crater C33T it is replacing. Honestly, that's the only bad Leatherman I've ever bought.

I think the design is bulkier than it should be, and the big spacer at the end should've been smaller, allowing for decent tool lengths. The knife blade is about as long as the frame, but the secondary tools are as much as an inch shorter than they could be. Heck, a Ranger from Victorinox weighs about the same, is roughly the same width, and has lots more tools. The same cost roughly too.  The tools on the Free are thicker, and surprisingly, the smashed/semi-flat Phillips is the first I've had that didn't suck.

I ordered the pocket clip from LM as soon as I got home.
