Also got it's Titanium brother on pre-order the E99Ti.
My latest light is the L3 Illumination L10, 4 mode, Nichia 219a very nice for the price and compact for an AA.

Yeah I saw that too, I'll tell you what was also good, back at my one house I screwed in a Screw-In Tool Hook(kinda like a U) it fit a maglite(4d) perfectly! But I screwed it right into the front doors doorjamb, so no mater what it was right there if I needed a light to see something or if we had unwanted company, and I'll tell you what, we had many unwanted furry ones! JR

I was thinking about getting those maglite mounts and mounting it into my car somewhere, but do not really wan't to drill holes into my car at the moment. If I ever get a truck I will probably do it.

That's why they make double face tape! lol,, my car/van flashlights always stayed under the seat, always within arms reach! Just sucked when you slammed on the breaks and it flew forward hitting you right in the ankle! But besides that one there was the other in the tub in the trunk or back along with all the tools, fluids, or extras, I don't remember what brand, but it was yellow with black rubber, also had a flat bottom and a 45deg slant that was nice if you ever had to sit it down and had to work on anything. Tape will not work. I tried using heavy duty double sided tape in my last car to hold a stereo controller and it gets so hot here that it melts the adhesive and slides down. That was with a very, very light controller. With a D cell maglite their is no chance it would stay up.

They also offered me some new ones with a magnet. But then you lose the clicky switch. So... I went with the "old" models

It really caught me in a bad budget moment, lool. But I missed those lights once already - they were all sold out- so I didnt want to repeat the mistake. Tell me I did the right thing

I'm not very sure I'll like its modes, but... oh well. I've been using mostly the low mode on my Preon 2 and it was too bright at night. So the 1.5lumens of the Lumintop should be okay.

You did the right thing!! And I must point out that newer version (sadly for me) got 3 modes and low is not 1,5lm anymore. Is much higher.

Ok, I just got my Lumi

It's a three-mode light, yeah. Sigh. It's a good thing, I like three mode lights. BUT... why the F doesn't it come on low first. And there's no way for me to determine what the lumens are. The med is brightish, the low is... also brightish, should be more than the advertised 1.5 lumens.

I'm in love, though It's more compact than I expected and feels a lot sturdier than I expected. Basically it resembles my favourite Fenixes and has a clicky!
