Found a brand new three D-cell LED Maglite at a local thrift store for a low price. It has five modes, with four configurations. This is now my around the house/yard light. I'm pretty much a lifelong Maglite owner, love their reliability.

You can never go wrong with an updated "old school" Maglite.

My wife's car and purse carry consists of two Maglites and one confiscated Farmer.

Malkoff MD2 in the mail, going crazy waiting!

There are a considerable number of cool lights represented in this thread.

You can't go wrong with a Malkoff,congratulations.

I have gene's Hound Dog light and it throws extremely well.

My most recent light is this sick Surefire which was advertised at half price on the Surefire website.

It's an M3LT Combat Light.It has three modes:low=70 lumens,high=1,000 lumens and strobe.

For comparison here is an old school Surefire M3 Combat light that served as my bed stand light for many years.

Beautiful one mate. I would have a hard time picking between brass, copper or SS.

Not sure if maybe you didn't get the memo but that is not how we do it here on MTO.

Get them all.

Very true, and since we're at it might as well get the 3 Ti ones too. Saves time and shipping costs.  :D

I just got 3 6000 lm Boruit RJ-5000 headlamps. One to keep, the other two as gifts.

So far quality seems quite good, they look great and are really bright (definately not 6000 lm but enough to blind the customs lady from the other side of a lit room  :D ).
Really not bad for 12 USD shipped including 2 18650 batteries, charger and car charger.
Let's see how well they keep up.

I hope they are OK, certainly the price is pretty good  :tu:

I see the "tactical" marketing people couldn't resist the temptation to put "tactical bezels" on all three.  I guess if you decide to defend yourself with a "liverpool kiss" it will come in handy

First rip to REI and came out with a Fenix E12, it's a nice upgrade from the bushnell I've been using.
The first LED I had was some generic from the local auto parts, it worked untill it caught fire.
I like the Fenix E12, sure hope it doesn't leak smoke.

As mentioned in the Junk thread I started a couple of weeks back, I had a RayoVac in the glove box that didn't work when needed. So I ordered out a couple new flashlights; Surefire G2X Pro and Fenix E25, both with lithium batteries. Picked up a nylon magazine pouch to store them in, and hopefully one of them will work when the need arises.

Upgarde? Is that similar to en garde?  :D

I've had continual problems with car flashlights for decades, including Kel-Lites and Maglights. Hopefully this will do the trick.
