Big Larry. Coworker bought 10 of them at a local store for $6 each and gifted me one. This thing is awesome! I’d watched reviews in the past, but never pulled the trigger.

Nice lights, Hood3dvillain and Roc!

Big fan of the Larry Lights myself, Roc. I keep the smaller version on my work bench full time!

Many thanks for the kind words, Roc!  :salute:

I believe the original designers and engineers would appreciate their creations being used 100+/- years after they were made.  :)

Now that’s just cool! Definitely not something you see everyday. The 1918 Daylo’s style really appeals to me.

Now I need another flashlight!

Need to convert my Fulton over to LED. It's a good light, just too bulky and dim.   Oldest light we still use around here is my Granddad's Kohler cap lamp from the '70s; incandescent bulb and probably five-pound lead-acid battery. And instead of a small charger, it uses a specialized one the size of a toaster. Gotta fix that. May stick with the lead-acid battery due to the complicated nature of switching over from it, but will definitely convert to LED.  The new ones are LED; some models don't even need a battery pack at all (they just snap on to the hard hat); while those that still have a cord and pack have a battery pack just slightly bigger than a pack of cigarettes.

Decided to try something different so I ordered a FreLux Synergy1. Very nice quality side-by-side AAA and made in the US.
It is also modular so you can mix and match body parts (that didn't sound right). I got a standard clip and end nut along with gold.

I have been enjoying the heck out of the Thrunite T1 (see my mini review). I have a Rovyvon A2 keychain light (puts out a whopping 650 lumens!) on the way and ordered and mid range thrower...Astrolux FT03. I will probably post some threads on these different lights and my impression of them.

Nice. I saw your pic over on BLF. I had one Jetbeam but I ended up giving to my mother so she cold keep a light in her purse. The throw the RRT has is impressive for a light of that size.

That’s a cool light. I had never heard of it so just spent some time watching a few reviews. Seems pretty unique and well made  :tu:

The JetBeam is a pleasure to use. It go so low that you can't tell it is on (maybe it isn't). Great for late night "trips". Seems to be well made. I had the original version but the ring was too easy to move so I sold it. This one is prefect: nice detent for off. Beam seems to be acceptable for me.
The Synergy! is a neat light. I have gotten to really like the side-by-side AAA design (have an AceBeam UC15 also). It feels like it belongs in the hand with a very intuitive grip. Not a real barnburner in output but I really like it. A modular design so you can mix and match colors. Also made in the US. Really gotta stop buying lights. Don't really even use them very much.

It’s great.  Also good for checking bank notes. Just don’t ever use one in a hotel :sa: :dwts:

Agreed. I’m more worried about bed bugs in a hotel room though.  :mn:
