Here is another pocket clip stick on option.

The first jeep tool, I do have. Not a bad item. No pocket clip however, but you can add one at a later date with most tools that do not have one. Not much room for one here though.

As for the Meyerco Paradox, if you can live without the pliers, this Kershaw Fire Select is a very nice product. I just received these in from a fellow US member who paid 10 bucks each for them on sale at Wal-Mart.

A little Leatherman information.

here's another suggestion I might as well throw in, but I know already that it is not ideal for you:
wenger rangers with pliers e.g. . They have spring-loaded pliers, and a decent size blade
- not all of them have a clip though - one of those stick on options would have to suffice. or get it customized.
it might be hard to get exactly the right combination - e.g. if you want PE, OHO and evogrip scales etc

Okay now I've had a chance to do some reading up on these Jeep tools and from what I've read the blades on both of them are okay (420 stainless steel) but the pliers are absolute smurf. Since you are an actual owner of the Jeep JP-4018 Multi-Tool can you confirm or deny this for me. It would be nice to have a first-hand opinion.

BTW thanks a bunch for the pictures.

I really hate to have to keep shooting down your recommendations but I honestly appreciate them. I looked at the MUT just now and it is much too much overkill for what I want. It has lots of features that I will never get around to using because I don't own an assault rifle. All of those unused features lead to unnecessary weight and wasted pocket space. The pliers on the MUT are also missing spring action.

Looks like the new Sog PowerDuo will be your dream come true..  :D

It has:

 - Plain edge
 - Decent pair of pliers & wire cutters.
 - Philips and flat head screwdriver.

The only thing missing from your list is the pocket clip for tip up carry, but doesn't looks hard to attach one to it  :tu:

That powerduo-thingy looks like they slapped a 111 mm SAK together with half of a skeletool.

The Wenger NewRanger 90 looks very much like it'd work.

It's funny, I was just looking at this thread yesterday and saying "too bad Wenger doesn't make a tool with one OH blade, pliers, and no useless sailing-specific tools, and today here it is!

Thanks for the recommendation that SOG looks amazing, and I'm now planing on picking one up once it finally leases. I just bought a Buck Fin X-tract and I'm looking to put a pocket clip on. I will end up doing the same for this one once I get my hands on it.

Thank you for the recommendation but, oh boy does that's thing looks atrocious IMO. It could just be the color which if that's the case there may be more options that look better. I know Wengeris a classic favorite of many but I don't think I've ever seen one of their pieces that grabbed my fancy.
