Black Alox Farmer?

Hi All,

I have a Gray Alox Farmer and a Black Pioneer. I love the look and feel of the Black Pioneer but I long for a smaller blade in place of the can opener (which I'd likely never use). Do you know if there is anyone proficient with SAK mods that would be able to replace the sheepfoot blade and the can opener (for a fee, of course)?

I think a Black Alox Electrician may be my perfect EDC SAK.

OK but why then is the thread titled "Black Alox Farmer?" ?

I woudn't mind having a black Alox Electrician Plus. OK it's true, I'll take anything in Black Alox. Except the Farmer that is... already have that one.

Hmmm. Black alox scales. Inline Phillips and straight sd, electrician blade and awl.

There is actually a very simple explanation for that. I was writing this late at night and wasn't thinking straight.

What I am after is a black Electrician and I do have a silver electrician as well as a black pioneer. I'm just not equipped with the neccesary tools, skills and patience to take the conversion on myself. I think Tattoosteve, do you think it's doable (thanks Ashley for the suggestion)? Basically I would need:
- black scales
- large blade
- electrician blade
- awl
- flat head screwdriver/bottle opener.

Thank you kmanct3 for the suggestion re. Harvester. I actully have one of those and do like it, however, I find a thinner dimentions of the 2 layer alox victorinox more comfortable for everyday carry. I'm also not sure if I'll ever use the saw.
